M.D. Michael Matthews is a real legend in the world of plants education and advocacy. He's built up his reputation through a lifetime of helping people make informed decisions about plants use. He got his M.D. at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he developed a real passion for the potential therapeutic applications of plants. This led him on a fascinating journey into plants education and advocacy.

After finishing his medical studies, M.D. Matthews did his residency in Family Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. There, he saw firsthand how plants use can affect a patient’s health and well-being. This experience really got him interested in the connection between plants policy, public health, and patient care.
